Sunday is here and that means it’s time to share the lurrrrve. Here are some of my favourite musings in the blogosphere from this week.

Connecting With the Offline Customer - A Non Bloggers Perspective
Scott McIntyre writes his first ever blog post… and it happens to be a guest post at Liz Strauss’ Successful & Outstanding Bloggers. Scott is going to be doing a series of posts regarding life as a non-blogger who is an avid reader of blogs. This initial post and the upcoming posts in the series should help you, the blogger, to understand a portion of your audience you potentially don’t realise you had.

You Have to Look With Better Eyes Than That
Aaron Potts shares his philosophy on seeing the positive in everything in life. Believe it or not, there is a positive in everything. Aaron sets out to always find that positive, and here tries to pursuade his readers to do the same. Does the bad weather put you down, or do you see it as a way for your plants to get plenty of water to grow? Negative or positive. It’s your choice.

Overnight Success
Hunter Nuttall discusses overnight success, or the lack of it. Even those people who seem to have achieved “overnight success” have indeed spent many years training, learning and absorbing. From the page… “When people reach the highest levels of success at a young age, we might think they were an overnight success, when really they just started early. Bobby Fischer became a chess grandmaster when he was only 16, but after 9 years of practice. Tiger Woods won the U.S. Amateur Championship when he was only 18, but after 15 years of practice.”

Bruce Lee’s 6 Ways to Develop a Kick Ass Attitude
Shilpan Patel has been hitting all sorts of pages on Digg recently, and this post, with 210 Diggs, is no different. Shilpan uses a fantastic Bruce Lee analogy to share six ways to gain a black belt in positive mental attitude.

Draw Inspiration from Never Give Up Stories
Evelyn Lim shares three stories and one video to inspire you to never give up. Sometimes, success is just one point away.

And finally, a little humor to brighten the mood to a point where we’re shining side by side with the sun…

Training for Beijing - The Cartoon
Caricature artist Phil Spratt has created one of the best cartoons I’ve seen in a while. Poor Beijing and their pollution problems. :)

A much better week in the blogosphere this week. Hopefully those links will give you plenty to ponder.

I’ll see you all tomorrow for the start of another amazing week. Or later today, for the end of an amazing week. :D

Thanks for the links Jamie - there’s some great stuff there. I’m really looking forward to Scott’s series - it will be great to find out how non-blogging visitors feel about blogs etc.

I always read Hunter’s blog and I’m not surprised Shilpan is getting Dugg a lot - he writes some awesome stuff.

And I’m looking forward to checking out the other ones.

Jamie -

Scott asked me to look at your blog and what an incredibly talented man you are. I’m impressed. Scott of course is the most kinder, caring non-blogger out there in the blogosphere. I’m in part still blogging because of inpiration and moral support from him, Cath, Barbara and countless others who are selflessly serving this medium of noble and open exchange of ideas.

Thanks for the link love. I’m humbled and honored.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything within my ability.

Hey Shilpan,

Thanks for the very kind words. I truly appreciate it.

I’m really pleased to see you value your readers so much. It’s a trait that many bloggers don’t go out of their way to show. :)

I can’t wait to see more posts from you in the future, and I also hope to see you write the occasional (or more than occasional) comment over here. :)

Thanks Shilpan!

Have a fantastic day!

Wow Jamie, these are some good links. I’ve already read some of them, and they’re definitely link-worthy (and thanks for linking to mine). And now I see from Catherine’s comment that she wrote “Why I Don’t Like Zen Habits,” so I’ll have to head over there immediately!

I read Scott’s post and thought, “Wow, this guy is literally blogging without a blog. I’ve got to email Barbara Swafford!” But then I saw in the comments that she had already found it.

Hi Jamie,

I had to come on over as I heard my name being mentioned. :)

You’ve included great links in this post. Most are blogs I read regularly, and of course Scott, the guy who blogs without a blog.
