Note: I decided to do a little audio for this post. The text pretty much repeats what I said in the audio, so take your pick. If you want to hear my cool English accent (lady’s, I know you do!), then feel free to listen to the audio, otherwise please read the text as normal.

Since I upgraded to WordPress 2.5 earlier this week, and then upgraded my company blog today, I’ve wanted to use the new “Add Media” feature of WordPress. I watched Matt Mullenwegs presentation at WordPress this week where he demonstrated uploading photos using the new media features in 2.5 and I thought it looked fantastic.
So, in nothing but a blatant attempt to use a cool gadget (boys love their toys), I’ve decide to upload my photos from a trip to New York City in January. I spent a couple nights in Manhattan before flying on to Ohio to spend a week with my business partner.
I stayed at the Wellington Hotel, 10 minutes from Times Square and two minutes south of Central Park. The perfect location, and at $130 a night (not including taxes), I believe it was an excellent rate. The hotel was very good too, despite being a little nervous having paid such a low price.
So, without further ado, here are my photos from my two night stay in Manhattan.

Did you book direct with the hotel or go through a 3rd party like Expedia?
Hi Jon,
I booked the flight with Expedia and then I booked the hotel direct.
