It brought in its fair share of traffic, but RSS readership didn't increase much. A few new readers at most.

However, much of that is probably my fault, Thomas. I, nor this site, were really ready for it. Being my first blog post on John's site, I didn't really know what to expect. Now I know what to expect, I'll be much more prepared for the next one (should there be a next guest post on John's site).

This month will see plenty of changes on my blog, including a design change. Hopefully then I'll be able to capitalise more on boosts in traffic such as that from the guest post on John's site. :)

Have you tried emailing him, CompuWorld? He might not reply to all emails, but I'm certain he reads them all. These tips from Jane May about how to get top bloggers to respond to your emails may be useful: http://www.dailywebideas.com/get-top-bloggers-to-respond-to-your-emails/
