Title: Do You Have a Blogging Business Plan?

Description: - If you’re blogging for financial gain, your blog is a business. Like every business, you should have a business plan. You should have goals. Big goals. Small goals. Long term goals. Short term goals. You should have a path to success. That is, a day by day path of tasks that will ultimately lead you to achieve your goals.

A business plan doesn’t have to be a fancy 50 page document. It can be as simple as a page of goals and a path of success to meeting those goals. What is important is you have some sort of plan. You must define what you’re blogging for and what your aims are because without definition, you soon lose track.

So many bloggers install WordPress and “Just do it”. While I admire their desire and passion to start and succeed, I also cringe at their lack of direction. I’ve been there, having spent the first six months of my blogging career with no physical plan. Soon, I’ll share with you my own business plan for this blog. I’ll share the template and format, as well as the content. I’ll make the process of planning and definition as easy as possible to allow you to comfortably create a long term plan for success. There will be no more moments of evening madness when you don’t know what to write about or what to do to promote your blog. With your blogging business plan, you’ll have a plan, schedule and diary of events to manage your tasks and take the weight of your blog as you walk along the path to success.
