16 January, 2008 - Blogging, Social Media - 17 Comments

BloggingZoomI’ve spoken a lot about BloggingZoom in recent posts and this one is no exception. BloggingZoom is unique in the sense that it is still small enough to allow you to consistently hit the ‘Top Today’ list and front page, but large enough to bring in lots of good quality traffic.

When is the best time to publish on BloggingZoom?

31 December, 2007 - Blogging, Social Media - 2 Comments

BloggingZoomIf you have been reading my blog for a while, you’ve probably seen the little “Zoom” buttons on some of my posts, just like the one to the right of this post. (You might not see it if you’re reading in your feed). These buttons are connected to BloggingZoom. BloggingZoon is the brainchild of Courtney Tuttle and serves as a social networking venue for bloggers. It acts in a similar way to Digg, in that articles on a blog can be submitted to BloggingZoom and then the BZ users add a vote to the article if they like it. The articles with the most votes get the most exposure, appearing in the “Top Today” list and on the home page. Users can submit their own content to BloggingZoom, which is a clear advantage over Digg where you have to rely on a reader of your blog to submit your articles.

The Short Story

My first date with StumbleUpon started at 1pm and
