Sunday is here and that means it’s time to share the lurrrrve. Here are some of my favourite musings in the blogosphere from this week.

Connecting With the Offline Customer - A Non Bloggers Perspective
Scott McIntyre writes his first ever blog post… and it happens to be a guest post at Liz Strauss’ Successful & Outstanding Bloggers. Scott is going to be doing a series of posts regarding life as a non-blogger who is an avid reader of blogs. This initial post and the upcoming posts in the series should help you, the blogger, to understand a portion of your audience you potentially don’t realise you had.

Week 26 Round-Up & Comment Awards

12 July, 2008 - Misc - 12 Comments

It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for a quick recap of the week on this blog. And what a week it’s been!

Notable Points of the Week

4100% Daily Traffic Increase - Wow. I’ve had a permanent smile fixed to my face for the past 27 hours. In that time, this blog has received 2,500 visitors, and it’s still rising at an unbelievable pace. So far, it has worked out at a 4100% increase in traffic compared to the average day. Where from, you ask? StumbleUpon. This is by far the most success I’ve had with StumbleUpon to date, and it’s all thanks to Kelly Rigby of She Power. She submitted my Millionaire Homeless Guy post to StumbleUpon and since then I’ve had a constant army of visitors hitting my blog, commentating, subscribing and emailing me.

Sunday is here and that means it’s time to share the lurrrrve. Here are some of my favourite articles from this week in the blogosphere.

Where Happiness Lives
My favourite self-help guru, Craig Harper, spoke about giving versus getting and which one of those happiness really lives in. In his usual witty tone, Craig entertains, enlightens and provokes thought.

Social Networking: Do You Need a Memory Upgrad . . . ?
Liz Strauss shares her methods for upgrading your memory. I’ve never had a great memory, but the methods talked about in Liz’s post and the comments are very useful.

Week 24 Round-Up & Comment Awards

28 June, 2008 - Misc - 4 Comments

Saturday is here once again and that means it’s time for a recap of the week on this blog.

Notable Points of the Week

New Blog Design - What? Another? This blog has gone through quite the transition in recent times. I got rid of the notion of wanting to make money from blogging, and my blog design had to reflect this. I’m pleased to say the entire design work is from my own hands, as opposed to using a template. So far, the response has been very positive. If you haven’t seen it yet, please click through from your RSS reader and take a look. If you have a few minutes spare, please post your feedback in the comments. :)

Week 19 Round-Up & Comment Awards

24 May, 2008 - Misc - 8 Comments

Saturday is here once again and that means it’s time for a recap of the week on this blog.

Notable Points of the Week

Coworking - I have an Office! - Coworking is a middle-ground between working from home and having your own office that you commute to. It’s ideal for freelancers, bloggers and sole traders to give back the early morning commute, the water cooler conversations and the after work gatherings. For a low monthly fee, you can have access to an office with multiple desks and equipment to allow you to drop in three or four times a week to work in a more structured environment, rather than working from home.
