Week 38 Link Love

Sunday is here and that means it’s time to share the love. Here are some of my favourite posts and resources in the blogosphere from this week.

How To Realistically Get 500+ Blog Subscribers
Hunter Nuttall shares how he went from zero to 500 subscribers in 10 months. His post is inspiring and insightful. As it happens, Hunter has now also left his 9-5 and become a full time blogger. Congratulations, Hunter!

More Important than Money - Paying Myself First With My Time
Sid Savara shares his experience of making the decision to wake up earlier to ensure he completes the tasks that need him to be productive during his most productive hours. Like Sid, I find that when I rise early I’m much more productive. Not because there are more hours in the day, but because early mornings are quiet (no emails or phone calls) and I generally feel much more awake.

Authority Blogger Forums
I registered at Chris Garrett’s Authority Blogger forums earlier this year and since then have gone through phases of high and low activity. Over the past week I’ve become more active again and plan to keep that activity on the high. There are several forums dedicated to blogging, but the forums at Authority Blogger seem to be the only forums that attract professional, well-spoken, knowledgeable individuals. It’s the only blogger forum I know that isn’t overrun with people advertising the latest affiliate program or get rich quick scheme.

There have been several valuable discussions over the past week, including “Who Has a Blogging (Business) Plan” and “Being Accountable for Your Blog“. I look forward to seeing you in the forums!

I’ll see you all tomorrow for the start of another exciting week. I have a new feature or two to add to this little community of ours that I’m excited to share. :)

Thanks Jamie! I also enjoyed Hunter’s article.

BTW, I see two checkboxes for subscribing to comments by email.

Hey Sid,

Thanks for stopping by. Hunter’s article is excellent, isn’t it? :)

Thanks for the heads up regarding the two checkboxes. I’ve now fixed this. :)

Hi Jamie - I’ve read Hunter’s awesome article. Did you check out his new book yet? It’s great. Now I’ll have to read Sid’s article and take a look at Chris’s forum too.

Morning Cath,

I haven’t read Hunter’s new book yet. I’ll add it to my list of things to do though. It certainly sounds interesting. :)

I think you’ll fit right in at the Authority Blogger forums. I’d love to see you over there. :)

Wow, I love links! (I guess that’s why they call it link love.) As you can see in the CommentLuv, I’ve just posted about my foray into the problogging world. Jamie, I guess I’m just getting a taste of what you did at age 14 with your web business!
