The first WordPress UK North blogger meetup went so well, we’ve decided to organise another.
When? - 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Friday 19th September. This is what time we have the room. Like last time, we’ll probably head to a pub afterwards.
Where? - Old Broadcasting House (OBH), 148 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, LS2 9EN. You can find a map at http://www.oldbroadcastinghouse.com/contact
What is it? - A collection of bloggers and new media folk gathered together to informally discuss our passion. Informal discussion leads to informal presentations, show and tell and anything else anybody wants to do on the evening.
Presentations - Tim Nash plans to follow up on his excellent StumbleUpon advice from the last get together by presenting his list of StumbleUpon “Do’s and Do Not’s”. If anybody else wants to do a quick presentation or show and tell, please contact Chris or myself in advance. If you want a rule for length, I would try to stick as close to a 20/20 presentation format (20 slides. 20 seconds per slide). 10-15 minutes would probably work as a maximum. OBH have all the presentation equipment (just bring your laptop, your presentation, and your cables). Any topic relating to blogging will be fantastic.
More info? - If you’re interested in attending this get together or future blogger get togethers in the north, head over to the Wiki and sign up to the mailing list.
Photos? - Photos from our last event can be found at Flickr.
I look forward to seeing you there!

I’d definitely recommend any bloggers/new media based in the North of the UK to attend, it’s a really useful event where you can learn from other like-minded people, have some great discussions!
