Following on from my post about excuses being for the weak, this post contains several of my favourite YouTube videos from motivational speakers. By the end of this post, I hope you’ll feel inspired and motivated, and of course, I hope you get a good laugh from some of the best parts of the videos.
John Pullum - View John’s Site
John shows us how sight and sound are connected, and does so by sharing his story of how his daughter learned to ride her bike.
Here is a bonus video from John’s collection. It’s not a motivational speech, but is a really cool ‘mind control’ experiment! Be sure to follow along with his instructions.
Bryan Fiese - View Bryan’s Site
Bryan talks about confidence and dealing with an angry customer. This is one of my favourites of the list, simply because of his ability to build up energy and humour.
Sam Silverstein - View Sam’s Site
Sam talks about yesterdays blog topic… excuses. He’s not my favourite speaker, but he does give a good talk about why excuses shouldn’t be used.
I hope you enjoy those. If you have any more videos to share, please post them in the comments and I’ll consider adding them to the list.
What do you usually do to motivate yourself? How often do you find yourself having to purposefully seek motivation? As always, please let us know in the comments.
